The Technology used in the design of the Destiny payment switching system has been based on Java Standards. Destiny has built an IT infrastructure that enables companies to seamlessly integrate and collaborate to form secure and convenient alliances.
Destiny's service was designed to be one of the easiest and simplest systems to operate, manage and maintain and also to reduce risks and increase convenience both at the point of service as well as in the back-office.
The heart of the Destiny transaction delivery system, a Destiny interface known as the Merchant API , has been designed to switch over any TCP/IP based communication technology e.g. Dial-up, Fixed line, 3G Cellular and GPRS. This allows the switching of transactions from any Point of Sale environment.
